RAVI Wine Chiller

The Ravi wine chiller is based on a revolutionary patent pending concept that will cool your wine to the ideal temperature instantly and will keep working for more than an hour after you take it out of the freezer. Place the Ravi in the freezer for 6 hours before you use it. Ravi consists of two components: the first is kept in the freezer, while the second, which is inserted into the neck of the bottle, can be stored with your kitchen utensils. When you remove it from the freezer, assemble the two components and place the device on the neck of your wine bottle. Ravi is based on the innovative concept of cooling wine at the very moment it is served. It’s not the bottle that is cooled, but the wine itself. The cooling process takes place as the wine passes through Ravi. With an internal tube made from the same stainless steel used for fermentation tanks, Ravi maintains the wine’s characteristics and never alters the taste. When serving, place your thumb on the air-intake valve and tip the bottle sharply. Once it’s in the serving position, remove your thumb to let the wine flow. When serving the first glass of red wine, pour the wine without slowing the flow. For the second glass, slow the flow slightly by placing your thumb on the air intake; for the third, slow the flow a little more, and so on. With repeated use (several glasses), the inside of the tube is warmed by the flow of the wine, so you must slow the flow to ensure sufficient cooling. PERFORMANCE WITH RED WINE Unfortunately, red wines are usually served too warm. The alcohol tends to predominate, concealing the fruit of the wine. As a result, the wine loses its typicity and personality. Ravi, which is intended mainly for red wine, enables you to go instantaneously from room temperature to that of a wine cellar, between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius. Ravi is designed to cool a full bottle of wine served within one hour. The Ravi doesn’t alter the taste of wine in any way. In fact, it brings out all its properties.
